Originating from an anime series, Kame House was inspired by Chef Tomoyuki Matsuya being recognised by his family friends and customers as “Krillin” from his physical appearance and his orange chef’s uniform.
During the COVID lockdown, Chef Tomo sought to stay connected and comforted his customers through a special chirashi project that he worked on with his daughter. The ‘Next Gen’ chirashi became an instant sold-out hit that it made it to the cover of media outlets and in response to the demands, a Japanese Artisanal Kaisendon experience venue was born.
